<p>Deputy Lowry last night launched a fierce attack on the official probe into<br />
allegations of corrutpion surrounding the awarding of a second mobile phone<br />

<p>Former County Councillor Michael Maguire was responding to newspaper reports which claim Tipperary Hostel Ltd. drew down almost €45,000 in funding last year based on invoices for work which had not been done.</p>
<p>Michael Maguire is now a driver for Minister of State Martin Mansergh while the Chairman of Tipperary Hostel Ltd is Martin Quinn who is also president of Muintir na Tire.</p>
<p>The company is working on the development of a former famine-era workhouse on Station Road in Tipp town - the €4 million development will see it transformed into self-catering accommodation for tourists.</p>
<p>Funding for the Fás project comes from dormant accounts which are administered by Pobal.</p>
<p>Michael Maguire is at pains to point out that everything is above board - he says it is standard practice to put in invoices ahead of work being done in order to have funds available.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A High Court sitting involving a County Tipperary man was moved to a car-park yesterday.</p>
<p>55 year old James Power of Tracey Park in Carrick on Suir is taking an action in relation to a car crash which has resulted in him suffering from a form of claustrophobia.</p>
<p>When Mr Power said he felt unable to stay in the court yesterday Mr. Justice Sean Ryan said if the mountain cannot come to Mohammad, Mohammad must go to the mountain.</p>
<p>A table and chairs were set up outside the courthouse in Waterford where the case continued for a time.</p>
<p>James Power&#8217;s car was moved 100 yards along the road when the crash happened in November of 2007 - he suffered minor injuries but the court has heard that he also sustained major psychiatric insult as a result of the collision.</p>

55 year old James Power of Tracey Park in Carrick on Suir is taking an action in relation to a car crash which has resulted in him suffering from a form of claustrophobia.

When Mr Power said he felt unable to stay in the court yesterday Mr. Justice Sean Ryan said if the mountain cannot come to Mohammad, Mohammad must go to the mountain.

A table and chairs were set up outside the courthouse in Waterford where the case continued for a time.

James Power&apos;s car was moved 100 yards along the road when the crash happened in November of 2007 - he suffered minor injuries but the court has heard that he also sustained major psychiatric insult as a result of the collision.
