<p>Deputy Noel Coonan points out that during the Celtic Tiger era the Government promoted decentralisation and moving jobs to the country.</p>
<p>The Fine Gael T.D says the move will adversely impact on the length of time it takes to process medical card applications.</p>
<p>It also means that applicants, local health office staff and public representatives in North Tipp will be unable to access information about the status of local medical card applications.</p>

The team set off on March 1st with an aim to complete the Three Poles
Challenge - which is a challenge set to reach the three most extreme poles on
earth : Mount Everest, the South Pole, and the North Pole.

<p>A Tipperary man who hid guns in the bathroom of his home has been<br />
given a five year suspended sentence.</p>
<p>32 year old Michael Hutchinson with an address at Cormac Drive in<br />
Nenagh pleaded guilty to five charges relating to the possession<br />
of 2 fire arms, which were found hidden hidden behind a bath panel at his home.</p>
<p>Hutchinson orginally told Gardai he had no knowledge of the firearms but<br />
then admitted he was being paid to store them.</p>
<p>At Dublin Circiut criminal court today, Judge Tony Hunt took in to account the<br />
man&#8217;s personal difficulties and handed down a five year suspended sentence.</p>
