<p>Nearly half a million Euro has been earmarked for work in North Tipperary according to Deputy Maire Hoctor.</p>
<p>She says the money will assist with the running costs of the Council’s water and sewerage treatment plants and the sampling and licensing costs associated with the water services.</p>
<p>Meanwhile Mattie McGrath has confirmed an allocation of just over €400,000 for South Tipperary.</p>

		<description><![CDATA[Connemara Mining has identified a number of drill targets close to the Lisheen Mine in mid-Tipp.
The company owns three blocks near Thurles and four near Nenagh.
The Thurles Block where Connemara Mining has idenintified the drill targets is around 5 kilometres south of Lisheen Zinc Mines.
Their mining licence there covers an area of over 100 square kilometres.
