An Post Sean Kelly team announced for Suir Valley 3-Day cycle race
The An Post Sean Kelly team for this weekends Suir Valley 3-Day has been named.
Included is Rás stage winner Mark Cassidy who will be no stranger to the roads of South Tipperary and Waterford as he is based in Carrick on Suir.
Also included are two other members of this years An Post Rás team Mark McNally and Conor McConvey. In there as well for this weekends 4-stage event are Ronan McLaughlin and newcomer Stephen Halpin.
Munster success for Tipp Under 21 hurlers
Tipperary are Munster under 21 hurling champions following last nights 1-22 to 1-17 win over Clare at Semple stadium
This is Tipp’s 20th Under 21 provincial title - Clare of course were the defending Munster and indeed are the All Ireland champions.
Tipp will now take on Antrim in the All Ireland Under 21 semi final on August 21st.
Tipp Under 21 team for Munster Final
The Tipperary under 21 hurling team to play Clare in the Munster final on Wednesday evening at Semple Stadium shows 2 changes from the team which defeated Cork in the semi-final. Sean Carey and Brian O’Meara, both of whom came on as subs against Cork start in place of Adrian Ryan and the injured Denis Maher.
The game will be broadcast live here on Tipp FM - throw-in is at 7.30.

Tipp set up All Ireland semi-final clash with Waterford
Tipp will meet Waterford in the All Ireland semi final after their thrilling 1 point win over Galway in Croke Park yesterday.
3-17 to 3-16 the final score with a Lar Corbett point seperating the sides.
Cork meanwhile set up a meeting with Kilkenny following their 1-25 to 19 point win over Antrim
Tipperary unchanged for Galway clash
Galway manager John McIntyre says all the pressure is on Tipperary ahead of this weekend’s All Ireland Quarter final in Croke Park
Tipperary have named the same 15 which started in last Sunday’s victory over Offaly for Sunday’s match.
There is one positional switch - Shane McGrath is named at left half forward and Patrick “Bonner” Maher at centre forward.
The Tribesmen have made 3 changes for the game with Adrian Cullinane, Aidan Harte and Aonghus Callanan all dropped in favor of Eanna Ryan, David Burke and Cyril Donnellan
