Tipperary motorists are among the most litigious in the state.
According to figures produced by the Personal Injuries Assement Board claims paid out by the body to drivers in the county in 2007 were 22% above the national average.
Louth people top the claims list with the PIAB saying that the total number of payouts to motorists there is 75% greater than the state median.
The number of successful claims last year in Kilkenny was the lowest in the country at 47% below the average.
