Plans for a private marina on Lough Derg appear to be dead in the water.
An Bord Pleanala has upheld a decision by North Tipperary County Council to refuse
permission for the retention and completion of works to convert a berthing area into a
marina at Shannonvale, Dromineer.
Local man Michael Kelly had appealed the local authoritys decision to An Bord Pleanala.
An Taisce's North Tipperary branch had expressed opposition to the development.
