A group of visitors to Carrick on Suir appear to have left the town with a rather
poor impression.
Last nights meeting of the Town Council heard that the tourists were spotted taking photographs
of a badly littered area adjacent to Ormonde Castle in the town.
According to Councillor Denis Landy the area in question is being used for anti-social behaviour
such as drinking - his request to have the area cleaned up as a matter of urgency was agreed
to by council officials.
