Former Tipperary hurling star John Leahy is to take part in this year’s Dublin Marathon.
He’ll be running on behalf of homeless charity TRUST, which is headed by Fethard woman Alice Leahy.
The Mullinahone legend says his only worry about pounding the capital’s streets for the 26 odd miles of the event is whether his knees will hold up to the challenge.
Monday October 27th is the day earmarked for the 29th running of the marathon.
